Puzzle Test Classification Based Problem

Logical Reasoning Puzzles require students to analyze the given piece of information, pick the information that is important and leave out the information that is not required in solving the given set of questions.

Logical games involve puzzles in which the relationships among the groups of objects, people, cities, acctivities, etc. are given. These puzzles may deal with such things as making a group, seating arrangement, scheduling the activities etc. After reading and analyzing the statement, you'll be asked to answer three to seven questions about the relationships given, which require you to accurately interpret the information given as well as draw logical inferences about relationships.

The analytical games can be categorized as follows:

1) Sequencing games

2) Grouping games

3) Matching games

4) Hybrid games

5) Mapping games

The concept of reasoning puzzles is based entirely on logical analysis of the data or information given in the question.

Points to remember while solving Logical Puzzles:

  • Firstly, collect all the direct information.
  • Arrange the direct information in a tabular format.
  • Mark all the information according to the given data.
  • The most important point is that in some condition/s, there will be more than one possibility.
  • So, according to possibilities arrange them in different tables. Then find the most suitable table for solve the questions.
  • Logical games Classification Based Problems :  This type consists of questions in which certain items belonging to different groups or possessing different qualities are given along with some does with the help of which the candidate is required to group and analyse the given items and answer the questions accordingly.

  • B and E are good in Dramatics and Computer Science.
  • A and B are good in Computer Science and Physics.
  • A, D and C are good in Physics and History.
  • C and A are good in Physics and Mathematics.
  • D and E are good in History and Dramatics.

    Solution : The given information can be analysed as under :

    Answer : D is good in Physics, History and Dramatics. So the answer is (c).

    Solution : Both A and C are good in Physics, History and Mathematics.But A is good in Computer Science, while C is not. So, the correct answer is C.
